Shot south of Polebridge on the inside road of Glacier NP in September 2007. I followed this bear along the road for what seemed to be at least a mile. Harassment being a concern, I increased my speed and the bear got off of the road and up on the bank. Following the bear offered no good photo ops, but once along side I did pause for a minute and took several shots, and then drove ahead several hundred yards. The bear climbed back down on the road and continued to walk south.
