Ok here in Oz it is now well and truly spring, lots of young bird life at present on my block.
1. juvenile crested pigeon
2. juvenile Blue Faced Honeyeater
3 and 4 Juvenile Kookaburra in this case a crookaburra. this guy has somehow managed to damage 1 eye, so after taking these shots i captured hime and he is now residing at the local VETS to see if he can be fixed up and rehabilitated. This is the first Kookaburra I hab=ve hd come out of a nest on my block that I am aware of and I've been on this block now for 26 years.
