Older, overweight dude carrying a heavy camera on a 95 degree F day... perhaps this fellow saw an opportunity, and made a run to check me out.
In any case, I took this with the 300mm phase fresnel lens and 1.7 teleconverter. I love the lens, and have been saving for the 500mm lens. But since the 500mm loses a stop of light versus the 300mm I've had to ask how much I gain? At least on bright days would the 300mm and 1.7TC provide similar capability? I was pleased with this result, but am still saving for the 500mm PF. Thoughts?
