The grizzly in this photo chased the bull elk through the Yellowstone River, catching it, finishing it, and then dragging it back to shore to consume it. That happened the day before this photo, and you can find a You Tube video of it. Pretty intense. The bear has covered the portion of the elk that he has already eaten to lessen the smell, to keep the competition away.
