While the raptors in the Cascade Raptor center can't be touched by visitors, the staff often interfaces with them, to provide food and in the case of this baby Peregrine Falcon who will later be placed back in the wild, they are taught to hunt and learn to accept the tether and glove. Shot with Nikon D810 and 24-120 f/4 VR lens a@ 112 mm, f/9, 1/160, Auto ISO 360, handheld, manual mode. RAW file processed in Nikon Capture NX-D to create a 16 bit flat TIFF. That file was opened in Photoshop CS6 Extended with PPW panel installed to complete post processing.
