Dear friends,
I am managing my way through our limited travel by paying lots of attention to my neighborhood on daily walks. There are many fine birds, and I have little experience with BIF photography, so this has given me a fine opportunity to learn. A pair of scissor-tailed flycatchers have been challenging me with their daily antics. After some nice stills I've started working on BIF photos. My first tries did not have sufficient separation from their background (taken at f/8 to f/11). After a few photos against the sky I took a few today in their meadow at f/4.
I am not an experienced bird photographer, but really enjoy it, and want to learn. Critiques are therefore especially welcome.
