A really wonderful image!! I think going to b & w helped a lot focus on the details and expression of this gentleman's face, with everything else - helmet, coat, so forth - making up an excellent 'frame' for a wonderful portrait.

This is a good example of how you make a good picture great with post-processing. The shallow depth of field and the darkness of increases as you move away from the Captain. Wonderful photo
