Donna and I spent a wondrous time in Clonmel and County Tipperary, Ireland. This castle and the grounds are called The Rock of Cashel. Legend has it that St Patrick baptized the pagan Irish King of Muenster in the 5th century, causing this huge Rock to fly off the Devil's Bit (a mount some 30 miles distant) and land at the site of the castle. "Tis surely a rock in Cashel, though I'm thinking the storyteller came from Blarney.
