Shot this early New Years Day 2015 ago in the Tonto National Forest near the Verde River and East Rio Verde Drive looking northeast with the Mazatzal mountains in the background. Since 1985 have seen snow at this elevation (2,700 Feet) 3 times. It is dramatic.

Challenges in this shot included it doesn’t snow at this elevation I Arizona often, the mountains are to the East making sunrise shots more difficult, and the snow at lower elevation typically melts shortly often sunrise. Right place at the right time. Thanks again
