Same principal as the ones you listed but there is an app for iPad or iPhone to allow rough editing and uploading to social media. I think originally developed for GoPro users. Thanks for posting this for those of us who do not want to carry laptop.

PART TWO I wrote the first part of this thread quickly, to get an idea of what is going on in this area. Now that I see that several of you have read the blog, I decided to do a little more research and put together a better summary of the devices that are available. I know that iPadOS with file support is coming but this blog assumes you will probably store your backups somewhere besides your mobile device. Most of the drives profiled below are, at their heart, mobile hard disk or SSD drives, equipped with a battery for on-the-go operation. The battery can be used to charge other devices. Most also let you create a Wi-Fi connection with the device, so it's possible to maintain wireless access while connected to the drive. With a battery, the WIFI works at home, in the desert or on the ocean. Most of these devices can also create a PASSTHROUGH connection from your home WIFI, so you can surf Google or Nikonians while you monitor the backup process, and they can STREAM media to a smart TV. They all have a small form factor, usually the size of a deck of cards or an old CD Discman. Some of the wireless devices exclude the memory, but allow you to turn any USB thumb drive or hard drive, card reader or SD card into a wireless storage drive. If you already own existing USB storage, this is an easy way to connect and coordinate the devices you already own. These devices work with an app you download onto your mobile device. The primary use for photographers will be to back up their photos while in the field. With an SD card slot, a Wi-Fi connection, a mobile app, and a USB port, you are ready to back up all your files without the need to carry a laptop. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ HOOTOO FILEHUB, WIRELESS TRAVEL ROUTER $44, WIFI, Stream, Cast, 10400mAh Battery, USB & Ethernet, no on-board memory Transfers files between multiple USB hard drives and your devices (phone/tablet/computer) to free up space for your devices. A power button and a second button that controls multiple functions, including initiating SD card transfers and checking the battery level while the unit is off, is also on the back edge, while you'll find a full-sized SD card slot on the right.
