This photo makes me want to walk down this trail and smell the air! To me, that is the goal of a scenic picture -- to evoke an emotion! Good job!

This is a beautiful inspiration of classic painting from about 1900. Well seen and realized!

Superb composition! The meandering road in the classic "S" pattern, with the trees at the sides, really pulls the viewer into the image. That said, I feel the image is a bit flat, and the colours are quite muted. Perhaps this was the scene as captured, which would make it a good record shot. However I feel this image could be improved with a touch more saturation to bring out the greens and the orange leafs on the left. Using the clairity tool in LR or PS RAW would give it a bit more punch too. Try a new version, and see if you will like it. Last point, make sure your camera is level. The image appears to be tilted to the left, visible in the trees leaning to the left, including the horizon in the distance. You have the fundamentals down in this photo, just a bit of tweaking will really make this image sing! Hope this helps. Frederic in Montréal.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep.

like the composition, but the road seems to my eyes to be tilted to the left. I would use the level tool in LR to achieve this or rotation in transform
