A P-51 "Mustang" being fueled at the Livermore Fly-In, Livermore Airport, California. No idea as to the "mileage" for one of these beauties, but with 12-cylinders of Rolls Royce "Merlin" under the cowl it could not have been good. When equipped with the "Merlin," the P-51's performance required the first "G-suits" for pilots, and would "pop" rivets from the wings and fuselage pulling out of a dive. It is considered by many to be the Ferrari of prop-fighters. Aperture Priority, Pattern Metering, Nikon TC-1.4E-II Teleconverter.
