Near the Hoanib wilderness camp in Namibia, we came upon these two desert-acclimated giraffes crossing the harsh Namibian terrain of the Hoanib River Valley. Despite the lack of vegetation and the rocky, desert-like terrain, giraffes seem to be thriving in this region. This landscape shows the light on the Namibian hills in the background.
