Remarkably elephants have adapted to the harsh environment and desert terrain of Namibia. This image captures a lone desert-acclimated elephant against the backdrop of a rocky cliff. This elephants have relatively small tusks for an African elephant most likely due to a diet lacking minerals and other nutrients. This image was processed in black and white with an neutral density filter.
