what an intense look it gives the viewer, very good. Also like the white bacground, and soft depth of field, it gives a "gentle" feeling, that stands in nice contrast to that "mean" look.

That "mean" look should be understand like "angry", cos only 70 pairs of these magnificent birds are nesting on island Cres in Croatia (bigger population of them is in Spain) and beacuose of human stupidity they'll be soon gone from face of the earth.
Sad but true
