Steps:
Bore a center hole in a cocobolo block.
Cut block 3 mm. longer than the brass tube.
Epoxy brass tube into block.
End mill the block flush and square with tube ends.
Turn down to a comfortable contour on lathe.
Sand, seal, then apply preliminary polish.
Burn initials and date into pen body.
Return to lathe for final polishing.
Assemble.
