Lubec, Maine is a very interesting, quaint, authentic Maine fishing town. Slightly hardscrabble, thankfully no tourist shops, but very nice and friendly. Two good inns/brew pubs and a coffee shop that opens at 6:00 am. We definitely recommend it.
