The BUFF is such a AWEsome aircraft. A 30 years ago while training dogs at Kelly Air Force base I had the terrifying joy to have one fly overhead at less than 100 feet as it was landing and I've nevertheless forgot how large it felt

Magnificent aircraft, use to guard these at Dyess AFB, way back when I was in the Air Police. One guard per plane, which were loaded with nuclear weapons ready to go.

I had a friend who rode in the tail . Sleeping till the red lights flashed , firing flares and chaff to distract
up coming missiles . He was still a bit crazy from those flights . They still fly them ...
