This Photo was taken on ANPAT 9 in Denali National Park, Alaska. The challenge was to capture the many subtle tones while focusing the viewers eye on what is a vast, almost endless landscape. The use of a "normal" lens focal length conveys the sense and impression of "being there." Because of the color enhance IR filter, I was able to draw out the "extra" bit of detail in the image. Employing a slightly "surreal" impression hopefully will make for a more timeless image.
