This shot was taken November 2007 at a living museum called the 1880's Homeplace in Kentucky, USA. I always liked the composition and subject, but in color the scene looked like what it was...a reenactment. I recently acquired the Topaz B&W filters and was experimenting on old photos to learn. The Laurel preset transported this image back in time. And softening the focus in PS not only added to the period authenticity, but created the illusion of the ox stepping out of the frame.
