This photo was taken on the "Caribbean Road" as part of the Nikonians' 2010 Ultimate Travel Workshop.
Shot with a Nikon D3X camera using a 14-24mm set at 16mm.
The aperture was f/5.6.
The shutter speed was 1/8000s.
Aperture Priority Mode (don't tell Michael Mariant as we were supposed to be shooting in Manual Mode) Wink

Great shot Rick. Next time I am waking up earlier, I do not care how good the bed feels. Smile

To me this picture really speaks to the Rick H. style - seeing the shot no one else sees!

Thanks everybody for your kind comments.
You should know that Shooting with Nikonians David Mathre and Albert Esschendal makes it much easier as we each point out possible shots to each other. In fact, David recalls that he was the one that told me to turn around as we were shooting the sunset. That is why the light is so low and allows for the full height shadows.

WOW. Congratulations and it appears that you get a Winner tag added to your image. Look forward to seeing you in Central America for the next Ultimate. I hate missing ANPAT 10.
