One of my son's friends sustained a black eye while playing baseball. Later that day when he returned from the hospital, I shot this photo of him holding a baseball. I applied a sepia tone that seemed to emphasize his character. I also used the 180 mm focal length (270 with the 1.5 factor) and the shallow depth of field to throw the background far out of focus and achieve this effect.
