I used a frying pan and dropped water from a zip-lock bag. Light came from a standard pan-light which I kept positioning in different places to get cool reflections.

I really like this shot, nice capture. have you thought of cropping this image the second droplet is symmetrical and looks like it is suspended. two thirds crop would make it look even better.
