Pretty decent shot! Did you use manual or auto focus? Looks like focal point is on the legs - you should try and focus on the eye of an insect. Much easier said than done! I still have trouble getting it right.

Thank you for the comment. I used auto focus on this guy as he would not sit still for manual focus. The biggest problem was my D200 which was having problem with AF .. I sent it in twice last fall for recalibration (focusing slighty back from where it thought it was) and it is working like a new camera now Smile This particular Digger wasp has been back 2 years in a row so I hope he will do a return engagement this summer
