Pete, it is a fun event to photograph.
However, as far as participation - to jump from a fast moving horse onto something several times my weight with sharp hooves and horns... kudos to you, but I’m staying behind the camera.

Shame you accidentally deleted but it is still one of my favourites of your many great Rodeo images . At least more folk are impressed at the second posting ;} . That PP is just so demanding and well done. Cheers, Tom

Tom, wait till you see the 3rd posting.
Though I did delete it by error, the only reason I brought it back - was because you said you liked it.
Personally, I don’t care for it. For me to like it - the cowboy’s horse would have had to be in sharp focus as well.
I was late by less than a second - hence my decision to experiment/play with it when I had the time.

Joe, I noticed The horse the first time I rated it . I've shoot enough sport to know sometimes , when more than one player , and maybe the Ref., are around the play, I have to use too much dof for the light and still getting everyone sharp , and catch the action I am shooting, is mostly luck. The horse does not affect my feelings on the image. Everything happens fast .
