Amazing angle on this porcupine, and the lighting is perfect! This is an award-worthy photograph. If I had managed to get a shot this good, I would at least enter it into our annual County Fair exhibit, although it is deserving of much wider exposure. Thank you for sharing it on Nikonians! Wow amazing angle and a clear shot, though looks like porcupine is it one? In this part of the world they have spines all over their body.

Stunning photo, I have just looked at your other images and have to say you're pretty good. Where in the world are you as most of you're photos look like they are in a cold climate? That must really help to get these images. You do not say what lenses you use, it would be nice to know.
