I've been a supporter (not Patron) of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute since the 70's. I am sure the Coast Guard personnel would love it. Interesting, I'll have to make sure my Standing Order donation is still valid. Tom

I am still considering getting a new video card sooner than later. The rest of the upgrade, new MB, more and newer memory a Kaby Lake desktop processor and new cooler if the old one won't work, and maybe a new drive or two. The main case, fans and other hardware like Blue ray drive are all OK for now. As soon as the Kaby Lake and associated MB come out, I will buy one.

The Maritime Museum in Astoria Oregon has some wonderful displays. This scene is not exactly as seen in the museum, as it has been manipulated to remove some windows and air conditioners, and expand the sky to allow me to make the image more representative of a rescue in rough seas. D810 with 24-120 f/4G ED VR lens at 24mm, f/6.3, 1/30 VR on, Auto ISO 180 Manual Mode. Processed in Capture NX-D and PSCS6 Extended using Picture Postcard Workflow. I was working with a crippled computer which made this manipulation a chore.Edit 9/11/16, I managed to stabilize my PC, so went back and did a little better job on the file.
