Leopard on a tree branch.
On my third visit to East Africa I was particularly keen on photographing leopard, since I was not fortunate to see one on my previous visits. For 2 weeks this elusive animal never materialized, and I became disappointed as I was due to fly back early next morning. Driving back to the camp I suddenly encountered this magnificent leopard, and it was a mere 12 yards from the vehicle. I started shooting, and the leopard just looked on and posed for the camera. I had to use the flash as the day light was fading fast. I shot 9 rolls till I ran out of film, and this shot is just one of the pictures taken. All that happened in the last hour of the last day of the last trip.
