This shot too is compositionally first rate and easily deserving of a ten in my view. You have a great eye for composition, especially in regard to assembling a larger number of elements into a coherent and interesting whole where others with less of an eye would prune and crop what they should not or fail to see it in the first instance. A major part of the aesthetical aspect of photography is just that capacity, in my view.
P.S. How can this shot get as many views as it has without a single comment until mine? Mind boggling.

Karen, I remember the morning that I took this image so clearly. Although there are no antlered deer in the shot, this group represents white-tail at their best (IMO)-- beautiful winter coats, healthy bodies filled with energy. Thanks so much for the compliment, I really appreciate it. Tom
