The truth is, it's hard to find photo samples taken from these Luminars on the net...so I guess here at Nikonians, there are a few.
Zeiss Luminars were originally used as microscope lenses/objectives - my version(25mm) can magnify up to 20X or more - I can only manage 12.5X magnification. At 12.5X, you need a 'dark cloth' used in LargeFormat cameras to isolate yourself from minute stray light - it is really dark in the viewfinder. I'm currently designing a LED based illuminator for my custumized integral flash diffuser to solve this problem - it makes focusing easier. I'll post some sketches when this project is done or even photos.

Oh Arthury, "you really have got nothing else to do" - by the way, it was shot with a very old Nikkormat FT - not all the way Hasselblad - and oh, I do own a whole set of Hasselblad...
You see, no one at the "A picture I took" forums complained about this image that was taken by a CarlZeiss lens...why don't you post your Hasselblad images, huh.
At least I was honest - but you?
