I had taken my grandson to Oak Meadows Park in Los Gatos CA to ride the Billy Jones Wildcat railroad. They also have a nice playground for kids and my 6 year old grandson never saw a playground that he did not want to play in. When he got to the slide, one of his favorites at any playground, I wanted to see how well my D810 would track him as he slid down. I was in manual mode with my 17-35 f/2.8 zoom @ 20mm, f/7.1, 1/320, ISO 64 and EV of -0.7. I used AFC and a single focus point on his face and held down AF On as he slide down and the camera had no problem following him as I fired away 9 shots. I converted the NEFs to TIFFs in Capture NX-D and moved the TIFFs to PSCS6 Extended. So I decided to have some fun and stacked the 9 images, and made a selection of him in each and then stacked these selections with one image of the whole scene after I had auto aligned the images. I then cropped the result and as the next step I processed 3 versions one with all 9 images and others with less,, using PSCS6 Extended and Picture Postcard workflow.
