Inspired by nesting flamingos at the SF Zoo.
Steps:
Mount tie on cardboard support with double sided tape.
Tone background with very thin kitchen sponge-applied washes of white Sennelier Texticolor acrylic, then heatset with a press cloth just below silk setting.
Paint the bird with tiny brushes, a la prima, then heatset.
