I had to hike up to a mountain top to get this photo. There you just sit and wait for an opportunity to arise. I must have taken 3 hours and about 100 photos to come up with this one. Some are too far, a lot to close and blurred or the wings where moving too much. This one sailed in the updraft from the cliff right in front of the rock I was sitting next to the cliff. They nest in the cliff that goes down about 300 meters, and fly in circles all the time. There must be hundreds of Vultures nesting there. I have made this step hike up the back of the mountain that is not a cliff now 3 times and I will go there again to see if I can improve on this. I would like a frontal shot when they fly over the mountain top. To sit at the right spot of that 1000 meter wide cliff will take some luck. Herbert
