This was shot in a storm that moved through St. Louis earlier this year. I positioned my D700 on a tripod and triggered it remotely while standing very still.

Ilove the way you use the arch to draw my eye toward the lightning. I know it wasn't planned, because of the lightning strike, but it's a great image. Nice color as well!
