This poor Flicker had his bell rung on Tuesday morning when I was cooking breakfast. I heard a loud "THUNG!!!" that startled me. When I looked outside he was on the concrete floundering around like his neck was broken. (Notice how his head is cocked. It stayed that way until he finally flew off 1hr and 10 mins later.) It took him 30 minutes to manage getting up on the edge of the hot tub and another 40 minutes before he was able to fly. They are so pretty and I was upset that he had flew into the window.

Hi David. I have had the 200-400 for about a year and a half now and struggled with it through this time to get sharp images. It really is a learning curve for those of us that don't have that much experience with a long tele. I have found that a 2 or 3 shot burst is the best for getting a keeper, plus practicing long lens guidelines. It also helps when the subject is curious or semi knocked out, lol. Thanks for looking.
