The Alhambra was the residence of the Sultans during their more than 700 years of residence on the iberian peninsula. The building nearly evaded complete destruction several times since 1492. The remaining building has some very impressive remains of arab architecture and craftsmanship. As they are mainly in grey, I desaturated the picture and gave it a small stint.

Great image luiga as content,composition but miss the stone colors; the thumb made me think that this was a reflection of the empire states tower. Anyway I like this image, its details and regret the faded glory of the Arab culture and finally devaluating it.
