Sometimes your best chances for a good image are right in your own back yard. I was cleaning my pool today and noticed a few dragonflies flying around and landing on my Bird of Paradise plant to I went and got my D700 with 200 mm Micro Nikkor and my Gitzo tripod with Markins ball and captured a few images. Here is one taken at f/10, 1/320, ISO 200, uncropped. Slightly processed in Capture NX2 and signature added in PSCS4 Extended. Minor Tweek on 6/25/2009.
