In looking at my recent posts, I realized I had not posted many close ups using my 200 mm Micro Nikkor with my D700. So the other day, despite blowing winds, I stepped out to see what I could capture. This is a shot of a rose on a bush right outside my front door. D700 with Micro Nikkor 200 mm f/4D manual focus on Gitzo Tripod with Markins ball head. f/20, 1/320, ISO 6400. Processed in Capture NX2. Signature added in Photoshop CS4 Extended.
