On my way to Red Bluff the other day on I5 I spotted a yellow crop duster doing its thing in fields off the highway. As luck would have it I was just 1000 yards from a rest stop, so I pulled in got my camera from the trunk and looked around and he was gone! But it turns out he had just landed in a small far off strip to refuel and soon he was in the air again and making nice banked turns right in front of me. This is the fifth image I am posting in my series and is the third close up. I shot this with my 70-200 VR lens at 200 mm set to f/8 and 1/640s and ISO 250 and shot hand held on my D700. I took a lot of images and every single one was in perfect focus. Processed in Capture NX2.2 with signature added in PS CS4 Extended

I love this shot. It's so cheery with that bright yellow plane against that clear blue sky. I also like the way the propeller is only slightly blurred. Beautiful capture!
