Devin took this with a D40, after I first gave him about a 15-minute lesson on how to use it. I'd already set all the settings, with the camera in Programmed-Auto mode. Then he disappeared down the banks of his favorite creek and a bit into the woods and started snapping away. After about 10 minutes I called him back for some follow-up and checking on whether he was following the "rules," and then let him go off for another five minutes to take some more, before he had to race off to baseball practice. I didn't even see his pictures -- any of them -- until an hour later when I transferred them to the computer.
Devin recently turned 10 years old.
I've done absolutely NO post-processing, not even to re-size or crop. This auntie is so proud!!!
