Very nice shot ... Not sure if this was alot of snow or not but, you made it look substantial. Did you try brightening up the bottom lefthand corner ?

Beautiful shot. The lack of any other terrain features, trees, or plant life really makes this photograph. It truly looks like a frigid, desolate, and inhospitable landscape.

Kawhona, Yes it's a accumulation of about6 or 7 feet of snow.The days I took this shot was really cold, and on the top is a 4 or 5 inch of hard crust due to heavy wind and cold.
2bad4u2, inhospitable, yes but not for Snowy owl's and Coyote.
