Last night was the closest full moon we will see in all of 2009, so like others I was out there shooting it with the longest lens I had- my 300 mm F/4 EDIF AFS with a 2X EII teleconverter. But come on, how many boring moon shots have we alll seen? So I decided to play a bit in NX2 with this image. I know it is at least not boring. D700 with 300 mm f/4 EDIF AFS lens with 2x EII teleconverter on Gitzo 3541L tripod with Markins 20L ballhead. f/11, 160, ISO 1800. 600mm. Processed in NX2 with NIK filters.
