I am not completely certain about the ID of this bird, but I think it is a Bachman's Sparrow. Any help in a proper ID is appreciated. Shot with D700, 300 mm f/4 EDIF AFS lens with Nikon 1.7 TC IIE teleconverter bring the lens to 500mm. All mounted on Bogen Monopod. f/11, 1/400, ISO 1100. Processed and cropped in Capture NX2. Additional output sharpening sharpening done in LAB space in CS4 Extended, where copyright signature was also added.
