This is Slim. He is a feral cat that my daughter feeds, although he roams her 6 acres and does not come inside. This is a good thing because in season Slim comes in contact with poison oak and petting him will risk a break out. He is a very friendly and loving animal, almost more dog than cat, and given a chance he will rub himself against your legs. He appears to be best friends with my daughters old Jack Russell terrier, and in fact any time I walk the dog, Slim will rub against the dog and follow along as we walk. This picture was taken in the creek behind the house which is still mostly dry so far this year. D700 with 300 mm f/4 AFS ED IF lens and Nikon 1.7 TC EII on a Bogen monopod.
