My grandfather was a carpenter who worked on several major construction jobs during his life. These are two of the tools he used. A level foundation and plumb walls were always essential for anything to stand the test of time. A life based on a solid foundation and lived in an upright manner lasts for generations. It also casts a shadow in which others can follow and grow.
