Shem Creek is located in Mt. Pleasant, just north of Charleston, S.C. This photo was taken shortly after sunrise with a D300, using an AF Nikkor 70-300 mm 1:4-5.4 D (ED) lens at 165 (35mm focal length: 247 mm). Also used circular polarizer, Brunton (Manfratto) tripod and "horizontal" trigger head, and a remote. Settings: 1/2 s at f/13.
