Taken with a Nikon D70s, to capture the morning mist on pristine Lake McQuaby in Ontario's north, the blue heron flew into my frame unaware until it reached about 15 feet of me, then changed its course. Four untouched photos were seamlessly stitched together to show the heron's path as it's wing tips skimmed the lake. A magical moment.

I camped there as a kid 50 years ago. Very nostalgic. I'm glad the lake is still pristine. Nice stitching job
