Today I went to Vasona LAke to try out my new 300mm f/4 AFS ED-IF lens with my two TC's. I shot hand held and with a monopod, and actually found the lens was easier to hand hold than I thought. Thi shot was taken hand held using my D700 with the 300 mm f/4 AFS ED-IF lens and a Nikon 1.7 TC, giving me a 500 mm lens. Shot at f/8 equiv, 1/500, EC-0.33, ISO Auto (200 used).
