The Tern spends the summer in the Arctic to raise its young, then flies to the South Pole to spend the rest of the year in the antarctic summer (which is winter in the Northern hemisphere). and back again. So it flies 16,000 miles every year in its 30 years life span.

I love it! Lighting, colour, focus, exposure - really nicely done. Looks like Jonathan Livingston Tern (for those old enough to remember!)

Nice capture of this interesting subject,,. The back lighting through the Terns feathers is excellent and makes for a uniqely colored backdrop,,.

Very nice Sabry!!

Lyle,,.
