Mike & Mark, thank you both for commenting. These were gourds in a large carboy at a country market. I loved the textures & the lighting, also did use a polarizing filter. The image was sharpened a little more than I usually would as well as adding a touch more contrast.

I've seen a lot of gourd/fruit shots like this, but this is the best I've seen. Color, sharpness and composition are all spot-on. This image really keeps my attention and my eyes moving....
